FATech DRS is a new added feature which is compatible with all FATech laser printers product line.
Through an integrated color camera it is possible to take a picture of the cassette as soon as its laser marking is finished. If the patient ID number and the information contained in the Data Matrix correspond to the information sent to the printer by the LIS, the cassette will be delivered and a LOG file generated.
If the cassette marking is not of good quality and the information contained in the Data Matrix cannot be identified, the system automatically will print a new cassette.
